What Is The Fotona Laser?

The Fotona LightWalker® Laser is an innovative and award-winning technology that has transformed the way we perform many dental procedures at Dental Crown in an Hour. The LightWalker utilizes TwinLight™ treatment enables treatment using two different laser wavelengths. The result is a comprehensive laser device capable of providing greater patient comfort, faster healing, and better overall accuracy.

How Does Fotona Laser Dentistry Work?

The Fotona Laser uses a technology called TwinLight. This includes the use of two laser wavelengths in a single device. This technology allows us to perform a many procedures without the need for anesthesia. For instance, we can perform no-shot fillings (no anesthesia needed!) for children and adults.

No anesthesia means no numbness so that you can return to work or school immediately. The LightWalker is also ideal for cleaning and the removal of large amounts of plaque and tartar from your teeth. It removes calculus, and can even activate tooth-whitening gels. It provides a high peak pulse that works to decontaminate, remove diseased soft tissues, and help promote clotting at the treatment site.
